Community Relations at Dartmouth

Community Relations at Dartmouth

A strong sense of place and community helps to define Dartmouth College, the town of Hanover, NH, and the many towns in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire and Vermont.

The Office of Community Relations connects Dartmouth College with Hanover and the Upper Valley in a variety of ways, including the following:

  • Invitations to participate in educational, research, recreational, artistic, civic and other relevant activities at Dartmouth
  • Regular communication and close listening to citizens of the Upper Valley about issues of mutual interest and concern
  • Encouragement of Dartmouth students, faculty, staff, and alumni to participate in the life of the Upper Valley and contribute to its overall well-being.
